eComGuider earns commissions when you sign up for certain platforms or tools through our affiliate links. We do not allow affiliate relationships to influence our recommendations. Where an affiliate relationship could reasonably create a potential conflict of interest, we disclose it within the relevant article, not just on this page.
What an Affiliate Relationship Is
When you click certain links on eComGuider and sign up for a platform or paid plan, we may earn a commission from that company. This costs you nothing. In most cases, using our affiliate link does not increase the price you pay. If a company offers a special promotion or exclusive offer, it will be clearly identified.
This type of arrangement is called an affiliate relationship. The commission comes from the platform or tool provider, not from you.
How eComGuider Earns Revenue
Our primary revenue comes from affiliate commissions. When a reader clicks a link on eComGuider and completes a qualifying action, such as starting a paid plan or creating an account, we earn a fee from the company.
We also plan to offer paid tools and research reports in the future. Those will be clearly labeled. No sponsored content, no paid placements, and no review-exchange arrangements exist on this site.
How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Recommendations
We do not allow affiliate relationships to influence our rankings or verdicts.
Platforms are evaluated using the same scoring criteria regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with them. The full criteria are published on our Methodology page. Scores are based on hands-on testing, real cost analysis, feature documentation, and documented limitations, not on commission rates.
A platform that pays us a higher commission will not rank higher because of that. A platform that pays us nothing will not rank lower because of that.
When an Affiliate Relationship Could Create a Conflict
Some affiliate programs pay higher commissions than others. We recognize that this could create a perceived conflict of interest.
To address that, we evaluate every platform using the same published Methodology, regardless of whether we earn a commission. Where an article contains affiliate links, or where an affiliate relationship could reasonably be viewed as influencing a recommendation, we disclose that relationship within the article so readers understand our relationship with the company.
How to Identify Affiliate Links
Every article containing affiliate links includes a disclosure statement at the very top of the page, before the article begins and before any affiliate link appears. Not all platforms we review have affiliate programs. Platforms without affiliate relationships receive the same coverage and are evaluated using the same criteria as those with affiliate relationships.
Being listed as an affiliate partner does not guarantee a positive review or a higher ranking.
We only include affiliate links for platforms and tools that have been tested or evaluated according to our published Methodology.
What We Do Not Do
- Accept payment for positive reviews or favorable coverage
- Accept sponsored content or paid placements
- Adjust rankings based on commission rates
- Promote platforms or tools that have not been tested or evaluated according to our published Methodology
- Place affiliate links on platforms or tools we would not recommend independently
